چکیده
The recovery of metals from discarded mobile phones has been interest due to its environmental and economic benefits. This work presents a simple effective approach for leaching copper (Cu) the printed circuit boards by combining ultrasound ozone approaches. X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) were used characterize solid phases, inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) was utilized determine concentration in liquid phases. effects several influential parameters, including ultrasound, dose, HCl concentration, liquid/solid ratio, temperature, reaction time on efficiency investigated. results showed that optimal conditions Cu included an dose 700 mg/h, 3.0 M, ratio 8, temperature 333 K. Under conditions, about 99% leached after 180 min. shrinking core model analyze kinetics process, surface chemical governs this process. activation energy reaction, calculated using Two-Point form Arrhenius equation, 10.852 kJ mol−1.

Recovery of Gold, Silver, Copper and Niobium from Printed Circuit Boards Using Leaching Column Technique
Nowadays, over 300 tons of Au are used in electronic equipment each year with other precious and strategic metals such as Ag, Pt, Pd, Cu, Nb, Ta, etc.. After the use-phase, the electronic devices become electronic waste (e-waste); consequently it is important to consider e-waste as a secondary supply for the recovery of these metals. This paper presents the recovery of Au, Ag, Cu and Nb from PC...

In this paper, the leaching behavior of the major metals present in printed circuit boards waste is evaluated, aiming at its recycling by hydrometallurgy. Several leachants were compared (sulfuric, hydrochloric and nitric acids, at 2 M H concentration), at temperatures of 25oC and 90oC and 4 hours of reaction time. Sulfuric acid leaching was not very promising concerning metals dissolution bein...
